WHO IT’S FOR
League nights are for independent American Mahjong players. You should be able to complete a game on your own, keep play moving, and be familiar with NMJL rules. All league play will follow NMJL rules, and blanks will not be used.
Players will come with different levels of experience, and that’s part of the league. You may sit with someone who has been playing for years or someone who is newly independent. Come ready to play with different people, different playing styles, and different skill levels.

YOUR REGISTRATION INCLUDES
All six league nights, weekly scoring and standings, weekly raffle opportunities, eligibility for season prizes, a Casa Mahj welcome gift, and all mahjong sets and playing materials needed for league play.
Bring your 2026 NMJL card and your game.
GOOD TO KNOW
Your best five weekly scores count toward your final standing, so your lowest score is dropped. If you miss a week, you may request a substitute from the Casa Mahj sub list and their score will count as yours.
Registration is non-refundable because your purchase reserves one of only 28 seats for the full season. If your plans change before the season begins, contact Casa Mahj to discuss transferring your registration to another player.
After registering, you’ll receive a short Player Profile by email. Complete it before opening night, and we’ll send registered players everything they need to know before the season begins.
Please note, outside food and beverage are not allowed at the lobbyLOUNGE. They'll have some great options of food and drink for purchase.
