WHAT TO EXPECT
You’ll play full games of American Mahjong while Casa Mahj circulates between the tables to:
- Answer questions as they come up
- Help with strategy and decision-making
- Work through rules you’re unsure about
- Practice the scoring format used in Casa Mahj Social League
This is guided play, not a beginner lesson, so players should already understand the basics of American Mahjong and be able to play independently.
NOT IN THE LEAGUE? YOU'RE STILL INVITED.
Despite the name, League Prep is open to all independent American Mahjong players. You do not need to be registered for Casa Mahj Social League to attend.
It’s especially great for newer independent players who know how to play but would like a little more confidence, practice, or support before sitting down for completely independent play.
Bring your 2026 NMJL card. Casa Mahj will provide the mahjong sets and playing materials.
